Russia stated that bombing any nuclear facilities protected by international monitors is "unacceptable." They warned that such actions could start an unpredictable chain reaction of violence.
The Iranian Foreign Minister informed Russia that they are seeking an urgent meeting with the United Nations Security Council to address the attacks.
For years, Russia has tried to stay friendly with both Israel and Iran. However, this recent event shows Moscow moving closer to supporting Iran’s defense while accusing the U.S. of breaking global rules.
Some observers believe that as the Middle East heats up, Western powers like the U.S. may become too distracted to keep up their current level of support for Ukraine.
