WAEC has announced the release of the 2025 Second Series results for private candidates.
This year saw a slight increase in registration, with female candidates making up over 51% of those who took the exam.
You no longer have to wait months for a paper certificate. You can confirm your results online and download a digital version immediately via the WAEC website www.waecdirect.org.
Once you've confirmed your result, go to www.waec.org to access your Digital Certificate.
Out of the 65,752 candidates who sat for the exam, over 27,000 students cleared their core subjects (including Math and English).
WAEC noted that 235 candidates with special needs, including visually impaired students and albinos, successfully participated in the exams.
Results for 1,899 candidates are currently blocked. A committee will decide their fate after an investigation into cheating allegations.
