Senator Adams Oshiomhole has lightened the mood at a recent political gathering by asserting that "political sinners" don't need to fear the afterlife.
He explained that since nobody on Earth is perfect, political offenses are simply part of the game and can be forgiven.
The drama started when the new APC state chairman, Jarret Tenebe, publicly apologized for any offense he caused during his time as acting chairman.
The Senator laughed off the idea of these "sins" being permanent. He argued that political mistakes are different from moral ones and don't require "hellfire" as a consequence.
Oshiomhole noted that only people who don't belong on planet Earth are sinless. He praised Tenebe for being humble enough to apologize.
By the end of his speech, Oshiomhole declared Tenebe's record as clean as a "new mint," encouraging party members to let go of old grudges and work together for the future.
